We came here for breakfast! We ordered the Belgian Waffle, Waffle Sandwich, Cappuccinos, and Tartine with Prosciutto, Fig Crostini, Goat Cheese, and Honey. Everything was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh! We also wanted to try the Chocolate Mousse, but that’s for another time. That’s why we’re coming back! They have both indoor and outdoor seating which a very small, cute patio. The service was excellent! Highly recommend it!

A step into a Parisian cafe in SoHo area. Get there early but so worth it. Loved the chocolate croissants, decadent and comes with 3 which is perfect for sharing. Tried the raved about brioche French toast with berries and it was so yummy. Loved the CRQ Madame which was topped with an egg and definitely big enough to share. Once you leave there don’t miss the FRIENDS apartment down the street. (Where they filmed the show for ever)

Had the Salad Poulette and pain perdu at Buvette for brunch. There was a short 10–15 min wait since they don’t take reservations, but it was totally worth it. Food was excellent and overall experience was great

Excellent food, good service. Tables a bit squished together. The candles really wanted to light my miniskirt on fire when gettting in, getting out. Brought my partner here for his birthday last night. Coq au vin was delicious, albeit very hard to eat from a tiny serving bowl. Carrot side was okay, bit too vinegar-y for me. Gratin potatoes to die for. We ordered crème brûlée and it was YUM! Came with a spoonful of their mousse that we almost ordered and it was soooo good. The only half point I would knock off is they don’t look after your water level in your glasses. Dry! Bill for two around $120

The waffle sandwich was spot-on delicious The Salmon Fumé was also really good — fluffy scrambled eggs loaded with generous smoked salmon, a creamy dollop, and capers on toasted bread. Fresh, elegant, and packed with flavor.

The food is amazing, everything tastes fresh and plated very well. My wife and I came here on a whim and we are so happy we did. Highly recommend it. We had a Latte and Capuccino, smoked salmon with eggs and toast, the elixir green juice, and French toast. If you have not been here, you need to try it.

I don't live in NYC, but I try to eat as well as possible when I'm in town. Buvette has been on my list forever, and I finally left myself enough time to come wait in line. In a party of two, I'd say we waited around 30 minutes. I don't know if it's normal, but parties of three seemed to go in sooner. Maybe it's the "visitor" mentally, but there was a certain magic to lining up on the sidewalk with a bunch of other patrons, watching all the different NYC people walking by. I got lots of outfit inspiration while waiting!! Getting your table feels kind of like winning the lottery. They asked if we'd be willing to sit at the bar, and we said OF COURSE!! We got a front row seat to all the pastries and steam wands. The service was amazing, every single thing we ordered was delicious (cocktails, coffee, appetizers, savory, sweet), and the vibe was so fresh and French. Listen, I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Wait in line. Enjoy your petitel déjeuner. It's worth it.

Live this place. Perfect perching spot at the bar to watch the well-oiled team maintain the pace of service. The food is simple but luxurious with that ‘extra touch’ of tasty ingredients. Seating is cheek by jowl, service is brisk and friendly, but you don’t feel rushed there. Queue management is clear and charming and the 10 minute wait passed quickly. I recommend everything on the menu. A special place in my heart goes to the pain perdu but honestly you’re not going to be unhappy with anything. Unlike so many faux-brasserie clones, Buvette has a level of solidity and verity. Best in a pair or small group, but also an ideal place for a solo brunch or off-time pit stop.
